Pagerize Dawn by Kathy

Posted by PicasaI really wanted to go with the whole doodling and strip journaling ideas in order to Pagerize Dawn, but instead just went with the Song Title Theme.  I also did the 3 pictures - but that's about as far as the pagerizing goes.  I also made mine a 2 page layout.

Thanks for the inspiration Dawn.  I'm going to do some doodling yet!

It's not too late to get your Pagerize This Challenge complete.  See all the details in Pagerize This #4 below.  You could become our next Pagerizer!

  4. It's so cool that there is a patterned paper for every theme! This paper is just perfect for your page! I did love the doodling on Dawn's page as well...but I am just not that brave or talented to tackle that.

  5. Thanks for all the kind words...

I should probably have emaphasized that this was truly from my STASH! The background paper was some I have attempted to sell in a garage sale several times, the dancers, are actually a 5 x 7 notecard I bought AGES ago. When I started working on this page I was going in a totally different direction - and then decided I needed to go with a 50s or Sock Hop theme. I remembered having some old "50s type paper" - but where? Turns out I remembered the background paper being in the garage sale box so I dug it out - after the garage sale, a lot of the stuff that didn't sell got thrown in a box "for the kids". I searched that box - and what do you know, there it was. So, I guess the lesson I learned was - "no matter how old it is, or whether or not I think I'll ever use it - I need to hold on to it!" Yikes that's a scary thought!

Also, the foot steps on the 2nd page are actually hand cut. I used the foot steps on the card on page 1 as a pattern & then cut them out of black paper!
